SKYCITY Community Trust

Since establishing the SkyCity Community Trust in 1996, we have been proud to distribute over $84.8 million to more than 5,573 community groups and organisations, large and small, through our three Community Trusts in Auckland, Hamilton and Queenstown.

Our three independent Community Trusts support locally determined solutions that respond to the aspirations, strengths and needs of their communities.

Each Trust has its own funding strategy, priorities, eligibility criteria and application process, reflecting the distinct communities and regions it serves. Across the Trusts, our funding seeks to strengthen community connections, grow capability and resilience, support collaboration, and contribute to meaningful and lasting outcomes

We value relationships with organisations that are grounded in their communities, culturally responsive and clear about the difference they want to make. Funding opportunities range from support for emerging ideas and smaller community initiatives through to the growth and development of established organisations and longer-term partnerships.
